Position Summary
The Infusion Nurse is responsible for coordination and facilitation of home infusion therapy along with coordination and provision of infusion therapy within the Ambulatory Infusion Suite. The Infusion Nurse provides clinical and operational support to patients and caregivers throughout the duration of the home or Ambulatory Infusion Suite infusion therapy, with extensive, ongoing interaction with patients, staff, providers, referral sources, and community agencies. Additionally, the Infusion Nurse orients and acts as preceptor for new staff. There is on-call responsibility with this role. Driving may be required for this position.
